Tom Wilkinson and Linda Riefberg, members of Cozen O'Connor's Commercial Litigation Department, will be participating in a panel at the 2014 Ethics & Compliance CLE Institute, offered by Delaware Valley Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (DELVACCA), titled ''A Company's Choice on Whether to Waive its Attorney Client Privilege.''

This panel will cover the aspects of a company’s  waiver of the attorney client and work product privilege for information that is obtained during the course of internal investigations or government investigations including:

  • Will there ever be justification to voluntarily waive the privilege
  • Which government and regulatory bodies pressure or compel waiver
  • When a waiver is required
  • Can a company selectively waive
  • How can whistleblowers be given assurance of confidentiality of their reporting
