Jennifer Brandt, co-chair of the firm's Family Law Practice, will speak at the 2017 Section of Family Law Fall CLE Conference. Jennifer's CLE presentation is, "Addressing and Breaking Through the Confines of Judiciary Bias Inside and Outside the Courtroom." The presentation will address how gender, economic, and racial/ethnic bias, exhibited in its many forms within the courtroom, can affect judicial decision-making and could ultimately compromise the integrity of the court system. The CLE will also provide practical tips for practitioners to break the confines of bias in the legal profession in and outside the courtroom.
