This presentation will summarize the pertinent ethical obligations imposed on lawyers in connection with the supervision of non-lawyer staff and the corresponding obligations of paralegals to adhere to established ethical standards. The presentation will also survey some recent instances of lawyer and paralegal discipline arising in the area.
