Pennsylvania Bar Institute: Business Owners Disputes

Aaron Krauss, a member of the firm's Commercial Litigation Department, will present "Business Owners Disputes" for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute on October 26. The program instructs attorneys how to advise clients who are entering into business owner relationships or seeking to separate from their business partners. Aaron and co-presenter Curt L. Golkow, of Golkow Business Law LLC, will demonstrate how to:

• Evaluate the client’s position
• Counsel the client on conflicts that exist or may arise between the business owners
• Minimize the risks or scope of a future dispute
• Plan for a future separation
• Create leverage for negotiating a separation
• Identify causes of action against business partners
• Build a record for bringing such an action
• Pursue claims against a business partner
• Negotiate a business divorce
