Recent Court Decisions’ Impacts on District Comprehensive Plan Policies

Meridith Moldenhauer and Stephen Varga will discuss how D.C. Court of Appeals’ legal decisions are influencing proposed planning policies currently under consideration by the D.C. Council at a session at The National Capital Area Chapter of the American Planning Association’s Annual Chapter Conference. Meridith and Stephen will address the court’s rationale in recent decisions, the history of the land use decision-making process, and the impact of these decisions.
