Tom Wilkinson was the course planner and will be on the faculty for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's webcast, "Civility in Mediation: Moving Towards Resolution Through the Golden Rule."

Mediation is a process in which a neutral acts to encourage and facilitate the resolution of a dispute without prescribing what it should be.

Mediation, collaborative practice, and arbitration processes are valuable but are challenged when civility and professionalism take a back seat. This two-hour ethics credit CLE through vignettes and expert panel discussion explores the advantages enjoyed by all when advocates and neutrals who are mindful of and practice civil and professional excellence.

Sponsored by the PBA Civility in the Profession Committee, PBA ADR Committee, PBA Collaborative Practice Committee and Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility Committee.
