Cozen O’Connor member Hayes A. Hunt has been appointed Adjunct Professor of Law at Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law. He will be teaching in Temple’s Integrated Trial Advocacy Program (ITAP), a program that incorporates three courses — Civil Procedure II, Evidence and Trial Advocacy — to prepare students to represent their clients in the courtroom. This will be the second year Hunt has taught this course as an Adjunct Professor.

A member in the Philadelphia office, Hunt practices in the firm's white collar and complex criminal defense practice, focuses on the representation of individuals and corporations charged with violations of various federal and state criminal law. Hunt has a diverse legal background in criminal law, civil litigation and teaching. He has tried numerous cases to verdict in both criminal and civil matters.

A member of the firm’s Professional Training and CLE Committee, Hunt has been actively involved in the development of trial advocacy training programs and has created and presented numerous vignette advocacy programs dealing with trial and deposition skills. He was the Program Director for the 2007 Inaugural Cozen O’Connor Trial Academy (COTA), in which he developed and created an intensive week-long trial training program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law. He was also the Program Director for the 2008 Cozen O’Connor Deposition Program (CODEP). Hunt frequently serves as a faculty member for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
