Cozen O’Connor Members Lawrence T. Bowman And Hayes A. Hunt Serve As Faculty Members At NITA National Trial Skills Session

Cozen O’Connor Lawrence T. Bowman and Hayes A. Hunt recently served as faculty members at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s (NITA) 37th Annual National Trial Session, held in Louisville, Colo. Bowman and Hunt taught participants new ways to improve their performance in direct and cross examinations, laying foundations, delivering opening statements and closing arguments, and performing voir dire, and provided instant critiques of their performances.

Bowman is a member and former chair of the firm’s General Litigation Department, and also formerly served as the office managing partner of the Dallas office. He concentrates his practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation, representing clients in regard to contractual, tort, construction, product liability, intellectual property, antitrust and securities law matters. He has been named a Texas Super Lawyer each year since 2004.

Bowman earned his undergraduate degree from La Salle University (B.A., 1975) and his law degree from Penn State University, The Dickinson School of Law (J.D., 1978).

A member in the Philadelphia office, Hunt practices in the firm's white collar and complex criminal defense practice, focuses on the representation of individuals and corporations investigated for or charged with violations of various federal and state law. Hunt has a diverse legal background in criminal law, civil litigation and teaching. He has tried numerous cases to verdict in both criminal and civil matters.

Hunt is a graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law (J.D., 1997). He is admitted to practice in New York and Pennsylvania.
