Joseph A. Gerber, a Philadelphia attorney, has been elected Chairman of the Chubb Foundation. Founded in 1953, the Foundation provides educational grants to deserving domestic and international college bound students. He was first elected a Foundation Trustee in 2002.
Gerber, a longtime member of Cozen O'Connor, chairs the firm’s client relations and business development.
Gerber is past Chairman of the Insurance Society of Philadelphia, past Chairman of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Large Firm Management Committee, and a founder and current Board Member of the Law Practice Management Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
A Philadelphia native, Gerber is a graduate of Albright College and the Georgetown University Law Center. Gerber and his wife, Beverly, an elementary school teacher, reside in Wynnewood, Pa.
