Cozen O'Connor received the CEO Cancer Gold Standard Accreditation for the firm's efforts to reduce the risk of cancer for employees and covered family members through its promotion of healthy lifestyle choices, including promoting healthy eating and nutrition, encouraging physical activity, and discouraging tobacco use. The accreditation is awarded by the CEO Roundtable on Cancer, which was founded in 2001 when former President George H.W. Bush challenged a group of executives to "do something bold and venturesome about cancer within your own corporate families." CEOs responded by creating and encouraging the widespread adoption of the CEO Cancer Gold Standard. The CEO Roundtable on Cancer is currently chaired by the CEO of Sanofi. Only 150 other employers are CEO Cancer Gold Standard Accredited, including Aetna, Cigna, Dell, SAS, and Johnson & Johnson.
