In an article titled “House Committee Votes to Hold Lerner in Contempt, Others Push For Criminal Prosecution,” Kelly Phillips Erb, a Forbes Contributor, cites Hayes Hunt’s Fifth Amendment Fundamentals blog post from his From the Sidebar blog (http://www.fromthesidebar.com) as a source of information on Fifth Amendment rights as they relate to Lois Lerner, the former Director of Exempt Organizations for Internal Revenue Service. The House of Oversight and Government Reform Committee recently voted to proceed with contempt charges against Lerner. The resolution will now go to the full House for approval.
Hayes also provides Kelly with more information on the waiver of privilege and other Fifth Amendment rights as they relate to the Lerner case.
