Mark Alderman, chairman of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies, appeared on Fox Business Network’s Risk & Reward with Deirdre Bolton, speaking on two separate topics.
Mark first commented on recent claims that unification has been a slow process for the Democratic ticket and that Bernie Sanders has forced the party further left. Mark disagreed with this, stating that, "We’re following the 2008 playbook with Bernie playing Hillary and Hillary playing Barrack Obama. It took a little longer this time than it did in 2008, but Senator Sanders is behind Secretary Clinton. Mark then commented on the recent discussions that have emerged from Cleveland's open carry gun policy. When asked if the left has incited tones of violence at the RNC, Mark said, "Any violence would obviously be wrong; it would be wrong morally; it would be wrong legally, and it would be wrong politically.
