Cozen O'Connor Attorneys Close Deal for Brooklyn Residential Project

Monday, February 22, 2016

Benjamin Suckewer, of counsel in Cozen O’Connor’s Real Estate practice, and Daniel Levin, associate in Cozen O’Connor’s Real Estate practice, recently closed an $80 million land and construction loan for Atlantic Realty Development Corp., a longtime client of Jerry Schrager, also of counsel to the firm, for a Brooklyn residential project located on the Gowanus Canal. The financing is for 363 Bond Street, a site that was acquired by Atlantic last July, with Cozen O'Connor as counsel, from the Lightstone Group, which was originally going to develop it as part of a two-phase development project. The Gowanus site is situated in one of New York's hippest neighborhoods. The 12-story property will have 270 rental apartments, underground parking and an outdoor pool.
