Howard Schweitzer, managing partner of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies, discusses the recent U.S. State Department report about Hillary Clinton’s emails on POTUS Politics radio show. Howard says, “It’s a losing battle for Hillary no matter how you look at it. It remains to be seen whether it’s a losing legal battle, the FBI is looking at that, and the inspector general looked at it to some extent. But the political narrative around this is horrible and it’s going to continue to dog her throughout the campaign and beyond if she’s elected.” Howard added that, “I think no matter how this ends up, it’s bad for Hillary and frankly it should be. She’s already admitted to having done something that she shouldn’t have done. It was fundamentally wrong in terms of the transparency that she and the administration had told people they were going to live by and she wasn’t forthcoming initially and it’s a bad narrative.”
