Mark Alderman discusses Speaker Paul Ryan’s unequivocal rejection of joining the group of Republican presidential hopefuls on Newsmax Prime. When asked if Speaker Ryan might be tempted to run for the nomination if the convention is contested, Mark says, “I think it’s going to be really hard for anyone other than Cruz or Trump to get this nomination. Yes, Speaker Ryan will be presiding, but he will be standing in front of real people, sitting in chairs, in a hall who came from back home with their own ideas about this, and 85 percent of them will have come committed to either Trump or Cruz. This can’t be done by remote control from the podium. It’s not a video game, it’s a convention and I don’t think he’s going to be able to do that.”
