Mark Alderman, chairman of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies, discusses the persistence and future of the Sanders campaign on After the Bell. Mark says, “What has to happen next is they have to sit down and figure it out just like Senator Clinton and Senator Obama did in 2008. Senator Feinstein hosted the two of them for a private meeting three days after California. I’m sure Senator Feinstein would be happy to host again.” As Clinton clinches the number of delegates necessary to win the Democratic nomination, Mark notes that, “It’s legacy time for Senator Sanders. His five decade career has peaked. It’s never going to get any better than this and he has to decide how he’s going to be remembered.”
