Jeffrey Mills, a member of Cozen O’Connor’s Real Estate Practice, discusses how competitive incentives could benefit Amazon’s search for a new headquarters in the Philadelphia Business Journal. In Pennsylvania, which infrequently offers high-incentives, “you’re seeing locals, such as municipalities and school districts, working to create incentives locally rather than at a state level. A project on this scale, the state clearly has a bigger role,” Jeff explains. Incentives aside, the competition amongst metropolitan areas for this space will be strong.
