Jennifer Brandt Appears on Fox 29 to Discuss Fyre Festival

Thursday, May 4, 2017

Jennifer Brandt, co-chair of Cozen O'Connor's Family Law group, appeared on Good Day Philadelphia to discuss the failure of the Fyre Festival and the legal implications. Ja-Rule, Billy McFarland, and Fyre Media, co-founders of Fyre Festival, are facing a $100 million class-action lawsuit after the festival failed to live up to marketing material. "The festival's lack of adequate food, water, shelter, and medical care created a dangerous and panicked situation among attendees — suddenly finding themselves stranded on a remote island without basic provisions — that was closer to "The Hunger Games" or "Lord of the Flies" than "Coachella," the suit, filed in a U.S. District Court in California, said.
