The girl’s parents were involved in a contentious custody battle. The young girl's stepfather found his 7-year-old stepdaughter and her father dead after the apparent murder-suicide inside a home in Philadelphia’s Manayunk neighborhood. Kayden was dropped off Saturday to her father's home and was supposed to be returned to her mother Sunday night.
