Mom Charged After Baby Dies from Drugs Transmitted through Breast Milk

Monday, July 16, 2018

Jennifer Brandt, co-chair of the firm's Family Law Practice, was a guest on Fox 29's Good Day Philadelphia, where she discussed a Bucks County mother charged with murder after her baby died from drugs transmitted through the mother's breast milk. Jennifer spoke with host Mike Jerrick and fellow guest Dr. Michael D. Cirigliano about Samantha Jones, 30, who was charged for the death of her 11-week-old son back in April. An autopsy found the baby died from a combination of methadone, amphetamine, and methamphetamine transmitted through her breast milk, the D.A.'s office said.
