Alex Campau, Principal & Director of Health Policy, was featured by POLITICO Playbook’s Birthday of the Day. When asked about a trend she thinks deserves more attention, she told POLITICO, “ The need for patients and other health care consumers to have timely access to all of their health data. Anyone who has to see multiple providers for a medical condition, or who has had an incident while traveling, understands the need for improvements in this area. My family learned first-hand about the need for reform when we experienced complications with our second pregnancy that required us to travel to multiple doctors in different states. It was usually impossible to get our medical records from one appointment in time to travel to the next appointment. HHS and others throughout the Administration are looking at ways to make improvements here.”
