Thomas Wilkinson has been named chair of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) Lawyers’ Professionalism and Ethics Committee. The appointment is for a one-year term and is effective at the conclusion of the DRI 2019 Annual Meeting in New Orleans October 16-19. The DRI Professionalism and Ethics Committee strives to address continually changing and challenging ethical issues faced by lawyers and provides advice to its membership. Tom’s appointment was approved by a consensus of DRI officers based on recommendations from current committee leadership and others knowledgeable of the committee’s performance. DRI is an international membership organization serving defense attorneys and in-house counsel for more than 50 years by providing access to resources and tools for attorneys.
