PHILADELPHIA, October 6, 2022 — Cozen O’Connor is proud to announce it has again been named to Newsweek’s 2022 list of America’s Most Loved Workplaces. This year, the firm moved up 14 spots in the ranking to #66.
The results were determined after surveying more than 1.4 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from 50 to more than 10,000. The list recognizes companies that put respect, caring, and appreciation for their employees at the center of their business model and, in doing so, have earned the loyalty and respect of the people who work for them.
"Even more than in most businesses, a law firm's greatest asset is its people," says president and chief executive officer Michael J. Heller. "I'm proud that Cozen O'Connor remains the only law firm on this prestigious list. It tells me that we are on the right track and that our employees feel and know that they are essential to our success as a firm."
The five critical areas measured to gauge employee sentiment were: how positive employees feel about their future at the company, career achievement, how much employer values align with employee values, respect at all levels, and the level of collaboration at the firm. In addition, areas such as inclusion, diversity, equity and belonging, and company response and adaptability to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as return-to-office rules, were identified and analyzed in relation to the five critical areas measured.
"We are thrilled to be recognized as one of America's Most Loved Workplaces," says chief human resources officer Erin Bushnell, "The firm leadership and the human resources team are intentional about cultivating a culture where everyone can feel respected and valued by being their authentic selves. It is wonderful to see that those efforts translate into positive experiences for our employees."
