This opinion outlines how attorneys should handle legal fees at the beginning of client relationships. Sarah commented on the long and complicated rule controlling fund management and the increasing attorney interest in learning more about handling funds. “This is just meant to be a one-stop quick resource,” said Sarah. “It’s not like we were overruling or changing anything… but [the last opinion is] 25 years old, so it was definitely time to issue something.”
