Katie Gettman is featured in a University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) article discussing her career path and what led her to become a business transactions lawyer.

In this article, Katie shares her story of how she didn’t always plan on becoming a lawyer. At 18, she was working in the accounting department of United Parcel Services (UPS) and she had plans to enter the business field after graduating from UMD. However, she ended up attending law school and shifting her career plans.

“I figured, if I was going to work in business, I should really understand the law that impacts it,” Katie stated.
