TORONTO, April 27, 2023 – Cozen O’Connor is proud to announce that Michael Osborne has been elected to the board of directors for the Canada Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). He will be elected for three years starting in May 2023 and may hold office for up to three successive terms. CIArb is an international center of excellence for the practice and profession of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). CIArb provides training, courses, and networking opportunities for arbitrators, mediators, and adjudicators.

Michael helps businesses navigate competition (antitrust), foreign investment, and other regulatory regimes, and resolve commercial disputes. Michael's 25 years' experience and broad practice enable him to identify an achievable outcome that best aligns with his clients' goals, and to work towards achieving that outcome. He advises and defends clients from around the world in inquiries and proceedings commenced by the Competition Bureau, including criminal matters, abuse of dominance, and marketing and advertising matters.
