Philip Kircher Honored With the St. Thomas of Villanova Award for Pro Bono Service

PHILADELPHIA, October 26, 2023Philip Kircher, a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department, has been selected to receive the St. Thomas of Villanova Award for Pro Bono Service. Each year, the Villanova Law Alumni Association honors alumni who have distinguished themselves with outstanding professional and personal achievements and have dedicated their time and service to Villanova Law and their communities. The St. Thomas of Villanova Award for Pro Bono Service is presented to alumni of Villanova Law who have performed exceptional pro bono work since graduation, exemplifying the ideals of this law school. Phil will receive this award in recognition of his substantial pro bono work with animal rescue organizations on November 2 at the Villanova Law Alumni Awards Reception and Ceremony.

Phil handles a wide variety of complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, including securities, antitrust, shareholders' rights, business and real estate joint ventures, corporate governance, breach of fiduciary duties and general breach of contract matters. He has represented manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, hospitals, doctors, food service operators, software designers, architects, engineers, constructors, schools, banks, state and local governments and others, both as plaintiffs and defendants, in courts, before agencies and in private arbitration.
