Lucy Schilling and Kathy Tang contributed to the 2026 edition of the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC (CLEBC)’s Due Diligence Deskbook.

The publication which provides practical, British Columbia-specific guidance for lawyers conducting due diligence in connection with business acquisitions, including common and specialty searches, applicable legislation, precedent request letters, and comprehensive search information.

The 2026 update includes new guidance on privacy compliance due diligence, as well as updates addressing Canada Revenue Agency compliance, mineral titles, intellectual property, environmental and liquor license due diligence, health records searches, and municipal processes.
