Zak Malik, a principal with Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies in New York, has been named to City & State New York’s 2026 Nonprofit Trailblazers list. Zak advocates for nonprofits, community organizations, and civic groups across New York City and State, specializing in budget advocacy, legislative analysis, and community affairs. In fiscal year 2026, he helped secure $75 million in city funding for nonprofit programmatic initiatives and capital projects, including support for renovations to the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater and the Apollo Theater.
