Storm Clouds Building for NYC Built Environment [New York Real Estate Journal]

Ken Fisher, a member of the firm’s Business Law Department, discusses the forecast for New York City’s future infrastructure and development efforts. Ken addresses funding transportation and major infrastructure projects throughout the city, including the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), Tappan Zee Bridge and LaGuardia Airport. With development projects on the horizon, the real estate industry faces much uncertainty and needs to be proactive. According to Ken, associations such the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of New York can champion best practices, a robust capital program and sustainable growth, to public officials through policy papers, testimony and by supporting candidates who share these values.
