With the Democratic National Convention a little more than a week away, many predictions are being made about what may transpire in Philadelphia. Mark Alderman, chairman of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies and veteran in the political arena, wrote an OpEd in The Hill titled "Four surprises to watch for at the Democratic Convention," where he projects that while the DNC "will have some important surprises, they won’t be the ones the 'experts' expect." After providing a brief history of past conventions that were particularly memorable, Mark describes the surprises that may emerge in relation to Donald Trump, Hilary Clinton's VP pick, Bill Clinton in the role of the spouse and President Obama's influence.
