Pennsylvania Hotels Not Included in Statewide Mandated Closures

March 20, 2020

Following issuance of an order on Thursday evening, March 19, 2020, mandating statewide closures of many categories of “non-life sustaining businesses,” Governor Tom Wolf’s Office has now issued an updated list of businesses that are permitted to stay open during the mandated shutdown. The updated list confirms that hotels, which provide an essential service, can remain open and continue to host patrons during this period. Hotels, along with all life-sustaining businesses that are permitted to remain open, must continue to follow the mitigation measures established by the Centers for Disease Control to protect employees and guests.

Here is a link to the updated list.
