Drew counsels high net worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning strategies designed to preserve wealth, minimize tax exposure, and ensure seamless generational transfer.
Drew focuses his practice on estate planning, gift and estate tax planning, and trust and estate administration. He works closely with clients and their advisors to develop practical, tax-efficient plans tailored to each client’s personal and financial objectives. He has extensive experience designing and implementing complex planning structures by utilizing irrevocable trusts, including grantor retained annuity trusts (GRATs), spousal lifetime access trusts (SLATs), irrevocable life insurance trusts (ILITs), and generation-skipping trusts, as well as preparing wills, revocable trusts, advance directives, and durable powers of attorney.
In addition to his planning work, Drew advises fiduciaries and beneficiaries on probate and trust administration matters, guiding them through each stage of the process with an emphasis on efficiency and clarity.
Before joining Cozen O'Connor, Drew served as of counsel in the West Palm Beach headquarters of a Florida law firm. Drew holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law, where he also earned an International Tax Certificate. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
