Julie is a corporate and securities associate who assists public and private companies on a range of domestic and cross-border matters, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, corporate governance, and securities law compliance.
During law school, Julie became the first President of Osgoode Hall Law School’s official student government to serve two terms and received the Dean's Gold Key Award and the Graduating Student Award for Exceptional Leadership in recognition of her contributions.
Prior to law, Julie earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in piano performance from McGill University. She worked as a professional pianist in opera and ballet and co-founded an arts non-profit organization dedicated to democratizing access to the classical performing arts.
Julie was a summer associate and articling student with the firm before returning as an associate. She is fluent in Korean.
