Jesus is a member of the firm’s Fraud & Recovery practice, bringing experience handling a broad range of civil litigation and appellate matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Jesus represented insurers in hundreds of matters involving personal injury protection coverage disputes and insurance fraud, handling cases from initial investigation through motion practice. His experience included drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, conducting discovery, arguing motions in court, analyzing provider billing practices and carrier data, and advising clients on potential claims and litigation strategy. Jesus also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jonathan Gerber of Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal, where he researched and analyzed complex civil, criminal, and family law matters and assisted with the preparation and review of appellate opinions.
Jesus served for more than eight years as a captain in the U.S. Army, where he oversaw battalion logistics and supply operations supporting more than 300 soldiers and received the Army Achievement Medal.
Jesus earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and his B.A. from Florida State University.
