Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies Deepens Federal Health Policy Bench, Adding Four Lobbyists

Cozen O'Connor Public Strategies, the bipartisan government relations and communications affiliate of international law firm Cozen O'Connor, today announced the addition of Rodney Whitlock, Debbie Curtis, Katie Waldo, and Maddie News to the firm's federal health policy practice in Washington, D.C.

Maddie helps clients navigate the evolving federal health care landscape through timely research and analysis of key legislative and regulatory developments. She tracks health care initiatives across Capitol Hill and the administration, translating complex policy developments into actionable insights that support clients’ advocacy goals.

Maddie joins Public Strategies from a D.C.-based health policy lobbying firm, where she served as a manager focused on complex Medicare and Medicaid policy issues. She brings this experience to her work at Public Strategies, advising on Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health care policy matters. She previously served as senior program associate for Medicaid policy at the Association for Community Affiliated Plans, working on federal legislative and regulatory issues on behalf of safety net health plans.

Maddie earned her Master of Public Health Policy from The George Washington University and Bachelor of Science in Public Health from University of Maryland.
