Braxton brings extensive experience in local, state, and federal government affairs, public policy, and political strategy to Public Strategies’ growing New Jersey practice.
Braxton most recently served as a senior director of state and local government affairs at Verizon, where he developed and executed multi-state political strategies and managed relationships with policymakers, regulators, and key stakeholders. Previously, he served as senior adviser to the commissioner at the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, where he focused on economic and social revitalization initiatives in Atlantic City. His background also includes roles with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, the Office of Governor Jon Corzine, and senior leadership positions on statewide political campaigns.
Braxton earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Montclair State University and completed graduate coursework in public administration.
