Hugh Marbury and Molly Shaffer contributed an Expert Analysis to Law360, discussing the need for the Supreme Court to provide guidance on how Rule 68 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure impacts permissive fee-shifting.

Molly is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office. Prior to joining the firm, Molly served for a year as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joseph M. Getty, Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals of Maryland.

Molly earned her undergraduate degree from Stevenson University and her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. During law school, Molly gained valuable experience in researching legal topics and drafting memoranda with several internships. She served as an intern with the Hon. Judge Robert N. McDonald of the Maryland Court of Appeals, as a clerk for the Maryland Office of the Attorney General, as an intern with the Office of the Commissioner Charlotte A. Burrows U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and as a legal writing fellow with the University of Baltimore School of Law Legal Writing Center.
