As the firm’s director of professional development, Alexandra (Alex) is responsible for managing firm wide attorney training and professional development initiatives. Alex works with department leadership and associates to design legal skills training programs and implements and oversees new associate orientation, coaching initiatives, the associate mentor program, and Cozen O’Connor’s annual advocacy programs. Alex also works with the firm’s professional development coordinator in managing and implementing CLE related activities.

Prior to joining Cozen O’Connor, Alex practiced law at a center city law firm after serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Heidi Willis Currier of the Superior Court of New Jersey. More recently, Alex spent seven years as the associate director of career and professional development at Drexel University School of Law. 

Alex earned her undergraduate degree in history and political science from McGill University. She earned her law degree, cum laude, from Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law where she was the managing editor of the Journal of Contemporary Health Law and Policy.
