Employment law mistakes cost employers millions of dollars each year, and an equally significant loss in reputation and public goodwill. At the same time, in-house corporate counsel continue to face increasing challenges as social media is ubiquitous in 2013, coupled with the rapid development of rules pertaining to an employer’s use of social media for workplace decisions. From hiring, firing and the implementation of social media policies, to the cyber-security and ethical risks attendant to social media, this seminar will provide an update and best practices for in-house counsel to consider in this area in order to minimize the risk of corporate and personal exposure.
