A. Martin Wickliff Recognized Among

Tuesday, June 24, 2014

Cozen O’Connor attorney A. Martin Wickliff, Jr. has been recognized among “The Nation’s Most Powerful Employment Attorneys – Top 100” by Human Resource Executive (HRE) magazine. The list is compiled based on evaluations by clients and peers, as well as independent research by Human Resource Executive and Lawdragon, a nationally recognized networking site for lawyers and clients. The list honors “lawyers who represent excellence in their craft and profession and have made the greatest impact in the prior year."

The list of “The Nation’s Most Powerful Employment Attorneys – Top 100” is intended to offer corporate counsel and human resource professionals an unparalleled guide to some of the best lawyers who can help them resolve difficult employment situations and keep them in compliance with the country's increasingly complicated and changing workplace-related laws and regulations. The process pairs online balloting and submissions with rigorous vetting, as well as editorial and peer review. In December, HRE's more-than-75,000 subscribers and Lawdragon's 500,000 database members were invited to submit nominations for the guide. Nomination forms were also posted on both websites. Three months and thousands of submissions later, the vetting began – first by Lawdragon's research team and then through each nominee's clients and peers.

Marty, who has been recognized on the list since 2010, represent management in all phases of labor and employment law.

Marty is a veteran litigator and trial lawyer and a member of the firm's Labor & Employment Department in the Houston office. He has also been involved in the implementation and monitoring of compliance and prevention programs, including HR audits, training and internal investigations.
