More Companies Are on Board with Women on Their Boards

Wednesday, October 26, 2016

Suzanne Mayes, chair of Cozen O’Connor’s Public & Project Finance Practice Group and president of The Forum of Executive Women, discusses the rate of growth for women in corporate leadership positions in the Greater Philadelphia region. A recently released study from The Forum of Executive Women shows that in 2015, women held 14 percent of all board seats — a slight increase from 13 percent the year before. Suzanne says female leadership “Has become much more mainstream over the last few years. I think it is finally seeping into people's consciousness. We're making some headway in government, not just in the corporate hierarchies.”
