Michael Schmidt, vice chair of Cozen O'Connor's Labor & Employment department, discusses talking politics at work on KING TV. It seems this political year is so divisive it's almost impossible to have a discussion about the candidates without having an argument. "Bottom line, you need to be respectful of other people's feelings," said Mike. Despite 1st Amendment rights, an employer is within the law to take action or discipline an employee if the water cooler talk or emotions are getting in the way of productivity.
