George Voegele, a member of Cozen O'Connor's Labor & Employment department, testified before a Philadelphia City Council committee addressing the impact of Pennsylvania’s Medical Marijuana law on employers and employees in the City. The hearing focused on how employers can comply with the contradictory federal and state laws on medical marijuana, how the law will impact City agencies, private-sector employers, and employees in safety-sensitive positions, and whether the City should be providing additional guidance to employers on complying with the law.
