She spoke about unlawful discrimination, low morale, a bad reputation, exceptions, and more. “Employers can, and should, have policies that prohibit employees from engaging in unlawful discrimination, harassment, retaliation and bullying, or otherwise making threats of workplace violence,” Friedman says.
