George Voegele, a member of Cozen O'Connor's Labor & Employment department, was quoted in Law360 discussing the changes to the Pennsylvania overtime rules in 2019. The state estimated the change would affect about 460,000 workers, which Voegele said could include positions like retail assistant managers, workers at educational institutions and nonprofits, or entry-level professionals in accounting and human resources. “Their employers are either going to need to increase salaries to keep them exempt, or they’re going to have to start paying overtime,” he said.
