As part of The Legal Intelligencer’s 2020 Professional Excellence Awards, Cozen O’Connor was named Law Firm of the Year for 2020. The Legal Intelligencer  highlighted the firm’s many legal victories as its reason for the honor, including our recent victory before the U.S. Supreme Court, closing $510 million sale of a longtime client, and our win in the Second Circuit on behalf of the 9/11 families.

To be considered for this honor, the firm had to enter submissions in the following categories: Lawyers on the Fast Track, Lifetime and/or Best Mentors, Litigation and/or Dealmakers categories. We previously announced that Jillian Flax, a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice, was named a Lawyer on the Fast Track, and Bernard Lee, a member of Cozen O’Connor’s Real Estate Practice, was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement award.
