As part of The Legal Intelligencer’s 2020 Professional Excellence Awards, Cozen O’Connor was named a finalist for Law Firm of the Year, along with Troutman Pepper and Reed Smith. According to The Legal Intelligencer, “The purpose of the award is to recognize the Pennsylvania firm that has demonstrated a broad spectrum of achievements in the past year and talent depth.” To be considered for this honor, the firm had to enter submissions in the following categories: Lawyers on the Fast Track, Lifetime and/or Best Mentors, Litigation and/or Dealmakers categories. We previously announced that Jillian Flax, a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice, was named a Lawyer on the Fast Track, Bernard Lee, a member of Cozen O’Connor’s Real Estate Practice, was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement award, and Meredith Slawe, co-chair of the firm’s Class Actions Group and co-chair of the firm’s Retail Industry Group, was named a Best Mentor.
