Court blocks enforcement of vaccine mandate

John Ho was quoted in the San Francisco Chronicle discussing a federal appeals court that temporarily froze a Biden administration mandate for the COVID-19 vaccine. John said OSHA has a poor track record of getting its emergency temporary standards past judicial scrutiny. The last time it tried to issue an emergency measure, about 20 years ago regarding asbestos, it was overturned, he said. He said he expects the issues to end up at the Supreme Court quickly, given that all the cases are being filed as expedited emergency measures.
