Cozen O’Connor Construction Practice Named Law360 2021 Practice Group of the Year

Tuesday, January 18, 2022

PHILADELPHIA, January 18, 2022 Cozen O’Connor is pleased to announce that the Construction Law Group has been named a Law360 2021 Practice Group of the Year. The Construction Law group was also recognized with this honor in 2019. Over the past 12 months, Cozen O’Connor achieved extraordinary victories in three significant pipeline infrastructure litigation. Among these victories was the firm’s successful representation of Energy Transfer Partners (ETP), a Fortune 100 oil and gas company, in a litigation the client described as “the biggest construction case in company history.”

In addition to these victories, Cozen O’Connor’s broader Construction Law practice continued to thrive. In the last year, the team drafted and negotiated design and construction contracts for projects valued at more than a billion dollars; served as construction counsel to the developer of the first commercial high-rise in Philadelphia in seven years; and served as ongoing litigation counsel to industry heavyweights Silverstein Properties, Turner Construction, AECOM, and Toll Brothers.

The group has expanded significantly over the past year with the additions of high-profile laterals in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Miami, including Stephen Seeger, Lawrence Prosen, Wendy Klein Keane, and Ralf Rodriguez.
